Mens Journal The Best Sports Camps in America

Men’s Journal “The Best Sports Camps in America”

REAL Kiteboarding is proud to announce our Zero to Hero Kite Camp being listed among Men’s Journal’s Best Sports Camps in America. This article can be found on page 92-96 of Men’s Journal, June Issue, at news stands now!

Men’s Journal cited our “On the Fly” coaching method and small student to instructor ratio of 2 to 1 as being two of the main reasons the camp received so much praise. REAL’s Zero to Hero was listed alongside camps priced (and worth) as high as $6,500 pp. At $1095 pp, the Zero to Hero Camp begins to look downright inexpensive compared with the frustration of teaching yourself or learning from a poorly equipped or staffed teaching program.

REAL Kiteboarding invented Kite Camps back in the Spring of 2000. While normal lessons are good for learning to kiteboard, they lack the necessary time needed to become comfortable with using and operating the kiteboarding equipment. REAL’s Kite Camp program immerses riders in the sport alongside some of the best rider/coaches in the world, instantly bringing them up to speed with not only their riding but also with equipment and tuning tips. These camps last three full days and are the best value in kiteboarding with regards to reaching your ability goals quickly.

All camps use REAL’s innovative On the Fly coaching method. Our new waterfront facility in Waves, North Carolina (Cape Hatteras) was designed from the ground up as the ultimate location for Kiteboarding. 15 full time coaches and 10 waverunners docked at our facility are ready to go 7 days a week through the end of November. Cape Hatteras is widely regarded as the best place in the world to learn how to kiteboard. Conditions are perfect for learning with shallow water and consistent winds.
