BIG THANKS to our viewers, Surfline, all the people who made these epic sticks, and especially Jeffrey O’Neil and Cody Hammer for capturing all the action.
Under The Glass | Season 2 …that’s a wrap!
Under The Glass | Season 2 …that’s a wrap!
Under The Glass | Season 2 Ep 8 has a great twist as we bring it back to where it all started.
Ryan Sakal’s Soap Box Derby powers you up for summer with some of his original Super Fling DNA, plus updates that make it even better. UTG filmer Jeffrey O’Neil even rips a few waves on his own Soap Box Derby!
In Under The Glass Ep 7 we take a look at a board designed for what most of us experience every day. Small, gutless waves.
In these conditions you can ride a groveler, a fish, a mid length, or even a longboard. Or you can choose to rip it and ride the Pyzel Red Tiger. High performance optimized for what we encounter on a daily basis (in real life). A board for reality rather than fantasy. What a concept!
In Under The Glass Ep 6 we take a look at Brett’s favorite high performance board to date… the Pyzel Radius.
Shaped in Hawaii, shipped to North Carolina, then flown to Peru before he eventually put his feet in the wax, this board wasn’t even supposed to be part of this season’s lineup. But then Brett tried it….
In Under The Glass | Season 2 Ep 5 Brett switches it up, leaving his PU/Polys on the beach, while dropping hammers on the EPS/Epoxy Slater FRK Plus.
….But is it too small? The numbers and clips say it isn’t. But Brett says it is. You be the judge!
Under The Glass | Season 2 Ep 4 waxes up the all ‘rounder in the Channel Islands Happy Series, the CI Two Happy.
The CI Two Happy was the first board in Brett’s Season 2 quiver, and it’s still hanging in there as one of his favorites. Small waves, soft waves, solid push and overhead tubes. It even punches through the occasional soft top coming over the falls! The Two Happy handles it all while showing its range in average to good surf.
Under The Glass | Season 2 Ep 3 takes an in depth look at the workhorse in the …Lost Surfboards HP stable, the Driver 3.0.
Brett Barley shares his feedback on the Driver 3.0 squash vs. the Driver 3.0 Round, which works for what, and whether it’s better to have loved and lost lightspeed, or never had it at all.
Under The Glass | Season 2 Ep 2 pushes Brett beyond his HP thruster comfort zone with the twin fin Christenson Lane Splitter.
This episode demystifies high performance twins and shows viewers why all boards with two fins shouldn’t be judged the same.
The Under The Glass Season 2 opener dives into why the Channel Islands 2.Pro doesn’t replace the CI Pro, but instead how it compliments it.This episode digs deep into HP shortboard performance, under foot feel, and why different curves match different waves.REAL and Surfline have teamed up again to produce “Under The Glass | Season 2”, a nine episode series documenting Brett Barley’s transition from riding for SUPERbrand for over ten years, to being able to surf anything that REAL Watersports carries in their 1,500 board inventory. The ultimate free agent. Here’s a peak at what boards Brett will be sharing his experience on. All episodes will premiere on this page at 12 noon ET.
