  • Foot clearance - You want to make sure your leash allows you to freely move your feet without wrapping or standing & pulling on the leash, for this reason coil leashes have become extremely popular for wing foiling.
  • Attachment point - We have found waist leashes provide easier movement around the board without tangling.
  • Drag - A long leash in the water behind you will drag and get in your way, traditional surf leashes will not be your best bet but can be used in a pinch.
