Armstrong A+ System Carving Freeride V2 Foil Package

After riding the 1050 and 850 each for a year respectively, I have found the perfect balance in the 950. I really liked the 1050 and there wasn't anything wrong with the wing, I just feel like the 950 is a bit more maneuverable and very fast. The 850 struggled on lighter days (like 12mph) and it also had some issues reentering the water from jumps as compared to the 950. It is butter smooth upon reentry and has incredible control during that most turbulent time. I have ridden it up to 23.5 mph and also down to 11.5 mph and in both instances it was incredibly stable. I highly recommend the 950 for kiting.

Have had a couple insane sessions on the 950. This wing is so carvy and controlled. I am normally riding the HS1050 and I had no adjustment to the cf950. Only performance increases. Better speed, more control and much more turny. The 1050 might have a touch more bottom need but I didn’t really notice much difference.

I've been riding the new CF V2 lineup this past month and have been very impressed. Another great addition to the Armstrong lineup.

CF950 V2
Great for Kite foiling on. It feels very stable and quick without being a very fast wing that can be tricky to use. If you like the stability and ease of use of the CF1200 or CF1200 V2, but want something a little faster then the CF950 V2 is great.

CF1200 V2
Perfect wing for kite foiling in lighter winds. This one has lots of easy early lift on it, so it can get you going in very light winds. Very stable and easy to kite on!

CF1600 V2
I have really been enjoying this for wing foiling. Gets going in light wind easily, but then still works well when fully powered up. For winging its quick and nimble enough to have a lot of fun on, but still very stable so you can work on new things and continue your progression. This wing is also great for behind the boat for wake foiling, or just learning to foil on Day 1.

CF2050 V2
This is the place to start your Wing Foiling journey on. This thing makes learning SOOOOO easy! It gets on foil with very little effort and its so stable it feels like your on solid ground. This is perfect for learning to wing. Also good for an intermediate winger on super light wind days. I've also used this one for wake foiling and flat water pumping. It pumps super well and goes forever. It feels like it has less drag than the previous CF2400, so it lets you pump farther before burning your legs.

I recently had a foil lesson at REAL, where I learned how to foil behind a jet ski. I am 5'8" weigh in at 145lbs. and for my lesson I was on a CF1600 V2 as my front wing, with the CF 300 V2 for my tail wing. The 1600 is a great wing to learn on because of the stability and having the ability to get up to foil at low speeds.

After my lesson I rented out the Armstrong A+ System Carving Freeride V2 Foil Package - CF1600 V2 to try to learn how to foil surf. A couple session later I was able to get up on foil and start to pump around towards shore. Pumping this front wing was fairly easy, it did feel a little weak unless you were really pumping hard. However, I was out in 1-2ft waves so that could be the reason of the pumping feeling weak, considering I have not had the chance to try out different foil setups. Turning the foil feel smooth and consist, but I haven't fully got comfortable yet.

I was shocked when I rode these two foils back to back. I love the CF2400 as it is so easy to ride and teach on. This is the foil I started on and had a lot of first winging and foil surfing. The low speed lift is addictive and it had speed range.

The CFv2 2050 has the same low speed lift with a much better top end speed and range than the CF2400. The 2050 has now become the ultimate learning foil for winging.

The wider flat section in the span with thinner profile have a completely smooth take off and are really stable on foil. If you get hit by a gust it just keeps going through the gust and doesn't feel like you have an anchor out the back.

The turning is very controlled and predictable.

The CFv2 2050 is a must have for wake foiling, wing foiling and sup foiling. Those smaller to mid size riders can use this as well as bigger riders too!
