Description

From Slingshot

The LTF of "Learn To Fly" is the first inflatable foil board with both foil tracks and keel fin slot allowing you to progress from your first day of finned winging to full foiling. Beginners will enjoy the wide yet compact shape using twin fins in the back and the keel fin in the middle of the board to learn how to wing while staying upwind. Then, get your first flights by removing the fins and attaching your foil to the stiff carbon bottom plate that delivers hard board like foil control. The 3/4 length corduroy EVA deckpad is soft on the knees and the top deck carry handle make walking with board and wing a breeze. If you want one board to take anywhere, teach anybody, at any level, you will love the LTF. It even works great for learning to foil behind a boat.

We wanted the perfect inflatable wing board for learning to wing with either fins or a foil. The LTF allows you to learn basic wing skills while cruising with twin fins and keel fin, before attaching a foil and taking it to the next level.

Airline and Cruise ship friendly

Nice sized bag, where with the Armstrong 2050 foil bag, I was able to stuff 4.5 and 5.5 A-Wing v1s with carbon handles into just the 2 bags. Did two bags to make transport easier in taxis and tenders, and not go over any airline size or weight requirements, although total I think they were under 55 lbs anyway. I was glad I bought the Armstrong foil kit, weight matters when hoofing it. I couldn't tell a big change over my older Slingshot Hoverglide Infinity 84 and 99 in riding. Except 99 is slower but comes up on foil a bit quicker.
I normally ride a Wing Craft 120 v1 and the LTF was similar fun to ride, practicing jibes and riding in some boat wake. Pumping felt the same, although I'm no expert, just an average Joe.
Pumping it up wasn't as hard as some older inflatable WindSUPs I've had with double action pump.
