From Lift Foils

Our high aspect wing lineup hit the market in 2020 with truly unprecedented success--we’ve never gotten so much positive feedback from so many foil riders of all kinds - surf, sail, wake, eFoil, the Lift high aspect lineup has made its mark.

If you are looking for the best efficiency of any wing on the market with Lift’s signature speed and maneuverability, look no further.

2021’s high aspect wings have undergone a few tweaks in the construction for ultimate responsiveness, and we’ve added in a smaller size to broaden the lineup.

These wings are ultra-tuned for performance; entry level riders are encouraged to start with the surf lineup.

70 High Aspect
  • The 70 High Aspect front wing is for advanced riders looking to maximize speed and maneuverability in more energized surf. This is also an excellent option for young rippers that are lightweight and full of talent.
  • Its small size does not serve the rider well for pumping long distances, but it can certainly pump to connect waves and get out in front. While the 70 HA is small in surface area, the high aspect ratio and camber profile give this wing considerably more lift at low speed than you would expect.
90 High Aspect
  • The 90HA glides, it pumps, it carves, it slashes and it jumps.
  • From knee-high slop to several feet overhead, this wing holds.
120 High Aspect
  • This is a specialty wing for those that like to push the limits and you will be delighted to find that it has it all, whether surfing or sailing! Fun fact; this wing is built with a specialty premium carbon fiber for ultimate rigidity at a small size. If you’re new to foiling, set this one in your sights for later, this wing definitely takes some getting used to and after a few sessions, you start to unlock the potential of this amazing ride. If you know what you’re doing and you want the hottest new toy on the market, you found it.
  • Want to push the limits on maneuverability and speed on the eFoil? This is the wing to do it.
  • Ideal for 1’ to 10’ faces, this is a wing for serious foilers
  • Pump out at blazing speeds and high efficiency
  • Excellent turning for surfing and sailing
  • Built with a specialty premium carbon fiber for ultimate rigidity at a small size.
170 High Aspect
  • The little brother to the Lift 200 HA, with more speed and more efficiency. 170 Square inches of surface area, 37” wing span. This is a shop favorite that demands a little bit of practice, but will be your absolute favorite wing for all disciplines. It’s fast, it turns and it pumps as if you had a motor below your board.
  • For eFoiling this wing offers top efficiency and runs pretty quick. It certainly takes some practice, but is extremely gratifying when you become familiar with it. Definitely a shop favorite.
  • Fast, efficient
  • A great all around wing for multiple disciplines
200 High Aspect
  • 200 Square Inches of surface area and a 37” wing span, this wing does it all. The 200 high Aspect offers an ideal middle ground for float without too much drag so you can keep up your speed and connect on every wave available.
  • For our eFoils, this wing will give you serious ride time. Just try to run down a full battery on these, we dare you.
  • The ultimate glide wing for surfing and plenty fast
  • Our go-to recommen

120HA so good!

I am an intermediate foiler and I am 5’10” 150lbs. I was a bit nervous that this wing might be a little out of my league. Took some getting used to but it is way more stable then I thought and went great in the smallest surf! Although with that being said this is not a beginner wing. The 120HA had more lift then I thought and turns really well! I have only used it in 1-2 foot surf and it went amazing! So fast and pumps back out incredibly well. I am also coming off the 200v2 surf. So this thing feels like a rocket ship!

HA120 and HA170 are SO GOOD for prone foil

This review is for the HA120 and HA170 wings used for prone surf foiling. I used both wings with the Glide 25 tail. I am 6'4" and 190LB.

HA120
This wing is incredible. It is CRAZY fast and can really be a good daily driver foil wing for anyone that's an intermediate or advanced foiler. I thought that for my size it might be a little small, but I was easily able to catch smaller waves and it didn't buck me off on larger sets either. Down the line this thing is fast! If you need to race past a section you can easily give it some gas to get around. Pumping back out is pretty easy, the foil is fast and needs a quick cadence but isn't super touchy or tricky. Really impressed by this foil and can't wait to get some more sessions on it.

HA170
This thing is a pump machine. I like this for smaller waves in clean conditions, where I am just cruising down the line, then want to pump back out easily to connect as many waves as possible. I was surprised how easily I could pump this wing. For its size it has a lot of pump power but also without feeling large and draggy which was really nice. Riding waves was definitely stiffer turning than the HA120, but in smaller surf it was just fine. I found that this wing is a little sensitive to breaching; once it has air under the wing it takes a second or two of instability to reconnect well. But as long as I didn't breach the wing was fantastic.

120 high aspect

I just got the 120. I haven't been foiling long but I have 24 years experience surfing. I weigh 145 pounds. I mainly use it for paddling in to waves. This foil is responsive and it pumps very well. It turns well in small surf. At slower speeds and combined with a short fuselage it has a tighter turning radius for cuts and airs. At higher speeds and bigger surf you have to be more careful not to slide out.

Surprisingly Good

I have ridden a ton of Lift foils and have always felt that they were a bit slower and felt "draggy" compared to other high performance all carbon foils. Over the weekend I had the opportunity to test the 120 HA in some really small surf and I was quite surprised to find that it felt really stable and brought the board up onto foil in really low speeds. It turned and pumped really well and felt like it had a little bit of a lower stall speed than some other HA wings that I have ridden. All around great product for an advanced foiler.

HA120 Vs HA170 on the Efoil

Comparing the HA120 to the HA170 on the Efoil, both work really well but with a different focus. These were used with the 4'4" Efoil E2 and I am 195lb. I would think sizing will feel different for the bigger size boards. I used the 32 tail wing for both of these.

The HA170 clearly has a lot more glide and low end speed. Paired with the folding prop you can get into waves super early when its just a bump and glide forever on them. For any wave around stomach high or smaller the 170 is perfect. Once it starts getting chest high, if you are close to the steeper part of the wave it can get pretty lifty and harder to handle. Cruising flat water its really nice and stable when going straight or carving turns. You can give it just a tiny bit of throttle and it will glide easily.

The HA120 is definitely a very sporty option. I don't think this would work on the larger sizes but for the smaller 4'2" or 4'9" its really fun. Definitely a special session wing. You do need some more speed to get it working, but its incredibly agile and turny. You have to be much more on top of your balance when using this. In waves, anything below waist high it doesn't have enough size to really pick up the wave and glide because of the weight of the board. In better surf its good, like really really really good. I wouldn't recommend this for flat water, the HA170 or HA200 would be better since you are mostly just cruising and don't need super aggressive turning.
