From Naish

Big Air, redefined. The Psycho Nvision is the ultimate Big Air machine, designed for kiteboarders who dare to take the plunge into a new world of unparalleled quality and performance. The Psycho Nvision allows riders of all levels to boost into progression of Big Air, providing a more vertical take-off, higher jumps and longer hangtime.

Featuring the Aluula “Helium Frame”, a new and improved structure illustrates a thinner leading edge and 5-strut system, translating to faster-turning loops, quicker acceleration and more lift. With no compromise on strength, the Psycho Nvision utilizes Quadtex Ripstop across the canopy to ensure maximum durability on those sticky landings and difficult situations. With great depower, aerodynamic bridles and the immense advancements of the Aluula Technology; the Psycho Nvision is extremely lightweight and stable in the air, generating a fast-flying kite with incredible efficiency.

With years of established on-water experience, our R&D team know exactly what elements to consider in designing something tailored to tackling the trends and keeping the hype alive within the industry. That’s why the new design boasts a super consistent kiteloop and catch, giving you the confidence and reliability to learn new tricks and progress faster than ever before.

Features:
  • Profile Lock Seam - Located along the high point of the kite, the new Lock Seam provides extra support of the kites profile, providing consistent locked-in control.
  • Helium Frame - A new and improved frame design combined with Aluula technology conveys a robust construction and smaller leading edge diameter.
  • Aluula Leading Edge and Strut - Superior stiffness and exceptionally light.
  • Swift Tips - The new wingtip construction shows a 30% increase in strength while remaining lighter than previous versions. The canopy extends entirely to the leading edge, providing a streamlined look and rewards direct turning performance.
  • Lightweight Aerodynamic Bridles - A new bridle system dramatically decreases air and water drag through the integration of high-quality TLS400 flying lines.
  • Diagonal Load Seam - Located from the steering line to the heart of the kite to distribute tension for a powerful and well-balanced structure.
  • Trailing-Edge Flutter Dispersion - Constructed with 2-ply QuadTex with flutter dispersing triangles offering tighter canopy structure and enhanced durability.
  • Quad-Tex Ripstop Fabric - The strongest and stiffest canopy on the market, QuadTex withstands intense conditions while maintaining long term high-performance qualities.
  • Aramid Bumpers - Protection against wear and tear during launching and landing.
  • Molded Strut End - Elevating additional reinforcement in the protection of struts from wear and tear.
  • HT Plus Seam - High-tenacity thread reinforces the seam along the leading edge, ensuring confidence in a high-pressure inflation for augmented performance.

Took my kiting to new heights

This is my favorite kite currently on the market. The direct bar feedback, constant power, and mega boosting abilities improved my jumping and my confidence riding overpowered. I flew this kite with the Naish Torque 2 control bar, it definitely has some bar pressure but I don't mind that in a big air kite since it helps with keeping track of exactly where the kite is while you're in the air. The stand out feature of this kite for me is how it somehow manages to be constantly powered up and ready for the next jump. With most kites there is a bit of a reset period to get tension back in the lines and get ready to jump again; with the Psycho as soon as you land it just wants to go again. A similar kite to the Psycho would be the XR Pro from Core, the performance between the two is pretty similar but I personally prefer the bar feel on the Psycho and the constant power. I think this kite would be a good option for someone who is already comfortable with medium to big jumps and its looking to take their big air kiting to the next level.

Always Powered Kite

Flew this kite in under powered conditions. The entire time i felt lit and was able to generate a lot of power with not a lot of wind.
