STAND OUT PERFORMANCE

A newly developed section shape, outline and profile give the HA range a remarkable “best of both worlds” ability to carve beautiful lines and easily stay high in the pumping power zone for maximum wave riding potential.

The foil section is adjusted incrementally at points across the wingspan (evolutive section shape) to provide a big boost to gliding efficiency and consistent lift at various bank angles and flight speeds. Riders are enabled to stay up high in the pumping power zone and experience an amazing carving feel for ultimate wave riding satisfaction.

PERFORMANCE PEDIGREE

Meticulously engineered to push your fun on the water.

The HA range benefits from two years’ worth of research with a leading CFD team in the hydrofoil sailboat world. These foils turn beautifully and their section is optimised to stay with the wave allowing smooth flowing connections between swell lines. Excellent lift means riders can drop down one full size from their previous HA foils for improved carving and speed range while maintaining an easy low end.

TOP TIER CONSTRUCTION

Built for progression.

High aspect foils experience extreme torsional forces in the water, especially when carving. We’ve crafted the HA range from premium Toray high and intermediate modulus carbon fibre for an ultra strong, stiff and lightweight foil that performs exceptionally under the feet of intermediate to expert riders. The consistency of this layup when combined with our industry-leading manufacturing quality provides the best in performance and durability.

HA480 is a bullet

I got the chance to try out the HA480 recently for wing foiling. I am 190 lb, and I was riding on an HA780 in about 25mph winds in rolling swell. I came in to size down to the HA680 but got an HA480 thrown at me to try. I've never even rode the HA580, so this was going to be a big jump. I was shocked how easy it was to get up onto foil. From my experience with the previous HA wings even the HA725 was tricky to get going on, this HA480 has a shocking amount of low end to it, then once your up its hyper nimble and super fast. Took me a minute to get used to how touchy it is at that size, but once you dial it in your moving at a whole different speed range than normal. Really interesting wing and cant wait to try it more.

Wow

I got the 780 about a month ago and boy o boy what an improvement over the older HAs. I live in Maui so ride it most every day. It is truly great on the wave and doesn’t stall like the older HA 925. Turns great and gets up on foil easily. I paired it with the speed 180.

Love the HA foil line for wing and kite!

As an intermediate foiler I looked to the HA line for more speed and glide and definitely got that! I weigh 175 lbs and went from an HS1250 to an HA925 and started to feel much more stable and maneuverable at higher speeds. So far the smallest size HA I have stepped down to is the HA 880 and I have absolutely loved it for both wing and kite. My experience winging in smaller waves (2-4ft) while being plenty powered with a 4.6m wing, 58L board, and the HA 880 was that the foil was stable at speed and it felt quick to pivot through transitions when pulling out of a wave or jibing/tacking into one. Even though the 880 is on the smaller side of the HA line it has a surprisingly low stall speed and lots of glide when pumping in wind swell.

Can’t get off these foils!

These are the best foils on the market. I change between the HA880-980-1080 based on wind speed and wave size. If you’re looking for a great downwind foil or want to catch small waves and be able to pump out with ease get on the 1180 or 1080 if you can pump well. These also work great for light wind wing foiling. For winging in high winds or more speed on waves get on the HA880 for best all around. If you’re kite foiling or tow foiling in bigger surf hop on the smaller sizes like the HA680 and use either the 180 speed tail or 220 Glide tail!

Ease and comfort

I have been using the HA range for winging flat water as well as in the waves. The HA range is incredible. Smooth, forgiving when breaching wing tips, stable lift, and turns easy. Wave riding is a dream with good forward speed to keep up with waves as side-off shore winds try to blow you out the back.
My go to range for winging in all conditions!
