For 2024 we’ve engineered the Cross in our durable EcoLite Impact Resistant Bamboo construction. The Cross has a more traditional surf outline with reduced nose and tail width for easier, sharper turns and improved control at the top end. The refined low-entry rocker aids acceleration and drive, and forgiving rounded surf rails provide a responsive feel with locked-in grip. Instantly familiar, intuitive and easy to ride, this smooth carving and super comfortable all-round freeride board blends the line effortlessly between surf, freeride and strapless freestyle.

Super fun board!

Just off the water from a pumping northeast, side onshore kite session here in Cape Hatteras.
Switched up from the North Charge to the Cross today and found that I definitely prefer the Cross. It worked really good in well overhead waves, felt nimble, loose and held through turns on the bigger waves too. Board is super fun, could hit the small inside waves and handle the bigger sets.

Historically haven't had much success kitesurfing these smaller, wider boards but this one is REALLY good!

The Cross just became my go to for wave kiting this fall!

Works in a variety of conditions and rips!!

Been riding the 5'5" North Cross this year and loving the feel and compactness of the board. Board has been working in everything from side-on small chunk to well overhead side-off conditions. Board has tons of drive and hold and is really responsive off the tail when going for a critical turn. Been loving switching it up between thruster and quad fin set ups. Nice to be able to change the feel with the fins. Loving the FCS2 set up so easy to change fins in and out quickly. Like all the North boards, pad is super comfy on the feet and has a ton of grip and hold. Rounded pin tail works really well for our wave conditions and allows the smaller board to be pushed into more serious surf. North nailed it on this one.
