Invisible boot

These are my favorite and most used boots for wintertime conditions here in Hatteras. I get the most response out of my board and my foot never slides around in this boot. The boot has rubber bottom that slightly wraps over the top of the foot giving a good blend of flexibility, protection, and lots of grip. The cellient black cuff is stretchy, easy to get on and off, and seals really well. My feet are always warm and I never notice I have these on when surfing, kiting, or foiling.

Warm Comfort

I have been using these for about 4 months now and they are the most comfortable booties I have ever worn. Not just comfortable, but it takes about 20 mins for the water to get in there, giving ample time for your feet to get warm before even touching the water. The Drylock system really works. They fit just right and don't hurt my toes or allow my feet to slip inside of them even in the most critical maneuvers. Do yourself a favor and try a pair of these next!

My new favorite booties

Everyone that I surf with has been raving about these booties. I've tried them on in the past and had trouble even getting them on due to the tighter "drylock" opening to the booty and my size 13 foot. I was advised to still give it a go, since like all booties, these will loosen up slightly after a few sessions. I am so glad I gave these a go. They are super comfortable and really warm. I also normally like to have a velcro strap along the very top opening to help keep water out, and was surprised that these work even better at keeping water out even without that strap. I've gone through different brands of booties for years now because I haven't found a set that I've been completely satisfied with (due to fit not great, not super water tight, or certain spots that wear out quickly and start leaking faster than I would like). I think these Drylocks might be the winner.

Best booties on the market

The Xcel dry lock booties are by far, the best boot I have ever had. I have been using these booties since they came out some years ago. They are more durable due to the thicker sole. So, they won't wear out after the first season, or if you have to hike down the street or trail to get to your local spot. The durable sole is still sensitive enough to feel your board and to have great balance while climbing slippery rocks.
Out of all the boots I've used I highly recommend and personally use the Xcel Dry lock 3mm and 5mm split toe option.
