The gear to be SAFE!

Although we all like to believe that we are the pro-kiter that could handle any issue in any wind, the truth is that our sport REQUIRES attention to safety! If you have been kiting for any amount of time, you can think of a time you had a "Kitemare".

I recommend keeping a Hook knife accessible on your harness, should things go south on the water! Its investment you'll be glad you made the next time your foil, wrist, or reef gets hooked on your kite lines.

Remember that your safety is more valuable than your gear!
