The Uno V2 is the best kite you can get to learn to kiteboard with. It is a full blown kiteboarding kite that was made with one strut to keep weight and costs to a minimum. This kite acts as an awesome trainer kite.

Kids love the Uno V2 because it is safe and predictable. This can be used instead of a foil trainer kite to teach kids in the water.

The light wind performance is unbelievable. The Uno V2 flies in almost no wind at all. Even the 2.5m flies in really light winds. Most small kites are designed for high winds, were the Uno V2 is designed for light winds. It is strong enough to handle fully powered conditions but excels in underpowered conditions.

Training on the Uno is the fastest way to grasp flying a full sized full powered sheetable 4-line kite. You can practice launching and landing, water relaunch, body dragging and even water starts with the Uno. Most importantly you can do this with a kite that does not have too much power.

Foilboarding the Uno is awesome. Since it flies in really light winds, we found that it made for a great beginner to intermediate foil boarding kite. Depending on your size would dictate how much wind you are riding it in.

The Uno V2 uses a standard kiteboarding bar. There is no trainer bar for the Uno. 45cm is the best size for all size kites in the range. You want to use a full strength bar so you can get used to how the actual bar works.
