You kidding me!

First session in the bag in my new Patagonia suit - went all in on Patagonia suits for the winter season with a hooded R3 and R4 after watching the reviews and seeing the updates for 2024...
..quick review here but what I've heard is that they have a "break in period" like snowboard boots or hiking boots and expect the suits to only get better.... IF that's the case - I'm STOKED 'cause first session in and this suit is really good. The fit is just right and it feels as flexible as any other 4/3 suit I've worn.
Switching to Patagonia suits after years upon years in other brands was and is a big change for me but I'm tired of having to buy new suits every other year. I surf a lot in the winter, in the best waves of our season and need a good suit that lasts a few seasons. The true worth of the suits will be known in the years to come but right out of the box, this suit is good and better than expected considering the "break in period."
