Pyzel Shadow

The Pyzel Shadow is fast, has a tight turning radius and the rail holds really well. The rails are pretty thin, which I really like, but there’s extra foam in the middle of the board, so it paddles really well. The board has lots of power in waist to overhead Hatteras surf. It doesn’t work as well for me as a groveler in smaller surf – it demands a little bit of size and push, but it is an excellent overall everyday board for intermediate to advanced surfers.

This board is a bit wider than what I’m typically looking for, but the widest point is in the perfect spot somehow to not trip me up. The 4’8″ fit me perfectly at 4’9 & 75 lbs.
