Foil Drive Battery Shim Instructions for F-One and Manera

"Quickly, we have received requests from dealers that foil drive enthusiasts were digging that board. With its long battery, mounting underneath the board, the Foil Drive Gen2 is not compatible with two ranges of boards in our catalog: The ROCKET SUP DW PRO (Bamboo and Carbon) and the ROCKET MIDLENGTH. 

This non-compatibility can be solved by adding a shim that is placed underneath the battery pack, against the board. F-One has developed two shims that can be easily 3D printed by the customer: One for ROCKET SUP DW PRO range and one for the ROCKET MIDLENGTH range. This enables the customer to mount a Foil Drive Gen2 onto our boards. One shim for all sizes.

The shims are separated in two parts so it’s compatible with most of the 3D printers on the market. 3D printing needs to be done with PLA-CF, PA-CF or PA-GF material and the infill parameter needs to be set at 100% to have the best mechanical properties possible. ABS is an option too but it's not best."
