Foil Drive Lessons at REAL Watersports
REAL Watersports is thrilled to introduce our new Foil Drive Lessons, adding to our kite, wing, and surf foil programs. Designed for riders with prior foiling experience, these lessons will teach you the Foil Drive power-assist system, helping you get more time on foil in the perfect learning environment, the calm waters of the Watermen’s Foil Garden.
Lesson Details:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Cost:
- Private: $400 (1 student per coach)
- Semi-Private: $300 per person (2 students per coach)
Prerequisites:
- Previous foiling experience (efoil, tow, surf, wake, wing, or kite) is required. No Foil Drive experience necessary!
What You’ll Learn:
- Gear Setup & Safety: Learn the basics of Foil Drive setup, maintenance, and safety procedures.
- On-Water Skills: Start by using the board on water, then progress to using the Foil Drive as an efoil and foil assist.
- Skill Progression: Focus on pumping skills and other techniques to advance your time on foil and improve your wake or ocean foiling.
Lesson Options:
Private Lessons ($400):
Receive one-on-one coaching with personalized feedback. Our Jet Ski "On the Fly" system ensures quick learning and more time on foil in the flat waters of Pamlico Sound.
Semi-Private Lessons ($300 per person):
Ideal for pairs with similar skill levels and weight (within 40 lbs. of each other). Learn together, benefiting from shared experiences, get more time on foil and personalized coaching.
