THE DESIGN DIFFERENCE

The Code V2 ushers riders into the new era of New School Big Air kiteboarding. By replacing the Code NXT Aluula air frame with our Framelite airframe, we have developed an entirely new kite that excels in New School riding while offering a slightly more forgiving feel. The Code V2 features three struts and a 6-point bridle system, enabling riders to seamlessly transition from free riding to back rolls to new school big air kiteboarding. With the Code V2, riders no longer need a 5-strut kite to performing big air conditions.

WHO IT’S FOR

The Code V2 is for those who care about having the same Design DNA found in the Code NXT, and also care where they are going, not where they have been, regardless of whether a kite has 3 or5 struts. This new design is for riders demanding a more intuitive feel and security in their kite. The Code V2 allows you to journey from mowing the lawn to getting more hang time than your friends on oldschool 5-strut kites.

FrameLITE

Utilized throughout the Code V2’s airframe, this high-tenacity polyester features biaxial gridding and extensive emulsion coating, eliminating stretch inall directions to provide superior response and handling in all circumstances. The stiffness of FrameLITE’s unique weave structure significantly reduces the elongation of the air frame and increases multi-season durability. At 160 grams per square meter, FrameLITE uncompromisingly offers the optimum balance of flex, strength, stiffness, and weight.

Hybrid Open C Canopy

The Open C Canopy was re-engineered with the Code V2 to include our revolutionary tapered wing tip design. This allows the kite to fly in a larger wind range with an increase in turning speed, helping the rider jump higher, loop more confidently and spend more time on the water.

4x4 Canopy Tech

The strongest, stiffest, and most durable canopy material used in any kite. 4X4Canopy Tech is reinforced rip stop nylon with a 4X4 weave that delivers unrivaled tear resistance, near-zero stretch, and season-after-season durability.

TrimFlight Bridle System with 6-point bridle

With 25% thinner lines, the Trim Flight Bridle delivers the least amount of drag, which significantly increases the Code’s efficiency and response. More than just light weight, the new 6-point bridle geometry creates a cascade effect that maintains structure in the kite while providing the rider with pinpoint steering accuracy.

High-Pressure Inflation

In 2025 we decided to move towards the high-pressure valve, originally de-signed for the military to inflate their boats quickly while also giving them the ability to deflate just as quickly if not faster. This gives the rider the most durable and fastest inflation and deflation system on the market. Inflation takes half as much effort and deflation takes half as much time.

CRUUUUUUUUISING

Been out on the 12m and the 14m and had great sessions! Worked on some little boosts with both sizes and they both performed really well, even with variable conditions. Just had a session that was relatively gusty and the 12m was able to handle the lulls and the stong gusts with ease. Great for boosts all the way to just cruising doing some carving transitions. Overall a solid kite choice, will be using it more in the future.

A comfortable and fun jumper

I've clocked four or five sessions on this kite in both 8m and 10m sizes using the standard width Sentry V2 bar. Two things stood out to me about this kite immediately. First, its is a very comfortable kite to fly. The bar pressure is direct but not strong, and it soaks up gusts like they're not even there. It felt like I could fly this kite for hours without forearm or back fatigue. Second, it has this strange ability to just float in mid air. I wouldn't call it a rocket ship like the XR or some of the other 5 strut jumpers but it does jump well and when you hit the apex of your jump it just...hovers... for a second or two and then starts to come down. I've found this to be really fun for working on board offs or incorporating grabs into jumps. A similar kite to this would be the Reedin Supermodel HTF. The Reedin jumps a little bit higher but can feel like a bit of a forearm workout. I think this kite would be good for someone doing a lot of down winders or someone looking to nail down some technical tricks but not necessarily looking to jump to the moon. Overall a really fun daily driver.
